Dan Brockington loves telling, reading and writing stories. He speaks Swahili at home, tries Catalan at work and English in his head. He is often confused. When not writing about Samti, he is an ICREA research professor and lives in Barcelona.
Abdul Gugu is a Tanzanian illustrator, designer, and author. He has worked with clients from many countries, including Kenya, UK, Zimbabwe, Uganda as well as Tanzania and he has illustrated more than 300 books with different publishers. He uses a combination of traditional water colour and digital drawings to create his illustrations. He lives with his wife and two sons in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
